THE PROGRAMME

Developing the complete future player.

The Elite v Elite Future Player Development Programme is built around one purpose: giving high-potential young players the environment, the coaching, and the games programme to develop into the best future players they can be.

WHO THIS IS FOR

For high-potential players who want more than what grassroots can offer.

E.v.E. is a selection-based programme for young players who show genuine potential and the willingness to be coached.

We are looking for players who can carry the ball, who can pass, who move well, who are coordinated, and who are coachable. Players with a love for the game and a thirst to learn. These are future players who could go on to do really well, but only if they get the right development at the right time.

That is what the E.v.E. Future Player Development Programme provides.

Each stage builds on the last. Pitch size, team size, and tactical complexity grow as the players develop. By the time they move on from the programme, they have spent years making decisions under pressure, developing habits, and building the confidence to thrive.

WEEKLY STRUCTURE

Train once. Play twice.

Every week, players on the E.v.E. programme get:

One structured coaching session focused on technical and tactical foundations.

Two competitive game days: Friday evening and Sunday morning.

This reverses the way most grassroots clubs work, where kids train twice and play once. We believe game time is where real development happens. Decisions under pressure, against players at a similar level, in formats that demand more from them every week.

The training and game schedule also keeps the rest of the week open. If your child has academy invites midweek, they can attend without missing anything on the E.v.E. programme.

THE GAMES PROGRAMME

A bespoke in-house games programme built to stretch, challenge, and develop good habits.

This is the core of E.v.E. No other programme in Scotland runs anything like it.

The E.v.E. format

Multi-target, multi-ball

Target Ball in play Player

A single multi-target format. Players attack and defend in more than one direction at once.

Players are split into teams and play through structured cycles. The games programme is consistently reviewed and adapted to make sure it is serving the players properly.

The game formats use multiple targets and multiple balls. Games are conditioned to challenge and allow the players to discover solutions. Players have to find space, make decisions, combine with teammates, attack in different directions, and defend with awareness. These are the habits that the current system does nothing to develop.

Players who are progressing quickly get pushed up to play against older or stronger opponents. The programme flexes around the players, not the other way around.

Game days like Zone 10 and the Dominator are designed to be exciting, fun-filled, and competitive. Every format has a thought process behind it. Nothing is random.

Controlled Coached
Creative Multi-target

Competitive

Best v best, every session. Real competition and a winning mentality, developed from the start.

Controlled

Coached environments. Managed intensity. Players develop emotional control alongside technical ability.

Creative

Multi-target formats force players to think, find space, and solve problems the current system never puts in front of them.

DEVELOPING FOOTBALLERS

We develop future players, not positions.

At this age, positions do not matter. What matters is that every player develops the ability to read the game, make decisions, and play with confidence anywhere on the pitch.

Our games programme is designed to develop complete young footballers who understand every part of the game. When they eventually move into seven-a-side football and positions become relevant, they will have the intelligence and the ability to play anywhere.

There is a thought process behind every single thing we do. Every game format, every session plan, every coaching decision has been meticulously designed with development in mind.

SELECTION

How players get in.

The E.v.E. Future Player Development Programme is for high-potential players and entry into the programme is achieved through a successful trial.

Trials are game-based with coached elements. We are looking at ability, movement, coordination, and coachability. The programme works best when the level is high, and trials help us make sure every player is in the right environment to develop.

The main intakes happen once a year, specifically when a new age group is added. We also understand that the development journey of young players is different for all and we are happy to hear of players showing exceptional potential following or in-between intakes. Places are limited.

THE COMMITMENT

This is a journey, not a one-off.

The E.v.E. programme runs over two to four years depending on the age your child joins. It is a genuine development commitment for player and parent.

We ask for consistency. Three sessions a week, every week. That consistency is what allows us to build the habits, the confidence, and the enjoyment that will set your child apart when they reach seven-a-side football. Your child should look forward to every session. If they are having fun and enjoying their football, the development follows.

In return, we commit to giving your child the best coaching, the best games programme, and the best development environment available at this age in Scotland.
